The Korean Association of Specialty Chemicals Industry has decided
to recommend to the government that a fine chemical industry complex
be established to help foster the fine chemicals industry.
The association also decided to conclude business tie-up contracts
with government-invested research institutes for the utilization of
their facilities in the development of new materials.
The establishment of a fine chemical industry complex is being
sought as it will reduce costs for disposal of waste waters,
while facilitating utilization of various by-products.
The complex also will help avoid duplicate facility investments.
