[해외유머] '실언'

A man manking a compaign speech for a certain political candidate
said, "My candidate is as honest a man as money can buy."

The sudden laughter made him realize his slip, so in an attempt
to recover he said : "I mena he never stole a dollar in his life
and all he asks for is a chance."

어떤 출마자를 위해 찬조연설을 하게된 사람이 "우리 후보는 돈으로
살수 있느 인물치고는 더없이 정직한 분입니다" 라고 했다.

당장 청중들이 웃음 터뜨리자 자신의 실언을 깨달은 연사는 실언을
바로잡으려고 했다.

"이 분은 평생 단돈 한푼 훔친적이 없다는 말이고 그래서 어디 한번
기회를 달라는 겁니다"
