To the same question, the second man of the visiting group said,
"Shame-shame" (the same).

And to the last man of the group, the same scrambled thing was
served.

Having observed the whole scene, the mess sergeant said to
himself: "I see, these people eat eggs only scrambled."

Accordingly he told his men to prepare enough scrambled eggs for
the gang the next morning.

The following morning, the man at the mess counter was all
prepared to serve the visiting officers with their scrambled eggs,
and confidently asked the first man of the gang: "Am I to serve it
scrambled, sir?"

똑같은 질문을 받은 두번째 사람은 "쎄임 쎄임"이라고 했고 그 다음부터
마지막 사람에 이르기까지 하나같이 "쎄임 쎄임"을 연발하며 스크램블을
받아갔다.

이 광경을 시종일관 지켜보고있던 취사반장 하사관은 "그렇구나, 이
사람들은 으레 스크램블로 먹는 게로구나"라고 생각했다.

그래서 그는 취사병들에게 이튿날 아침에는 그들에게 줄 스크램블을
충분히 준비하도록 지시했다.

이튿날 아침 외국장교단이 찾을 스크램블을 준비해놓고 기다리던
취사병은 일행이 다가오자 맨 앞사람을 보고 자신만만해서 물었다.

"스크램블로 드릴까요?"
