"Now, you son-of-a-bitches, fall in-on the double!" barked the
sergeant as he strode into the barracks.

Each soldier grabbed his hat and jumped to his feet except one-a
private who lay in his bunk reading a book.

"Well?" roared the sergeant.

"Well," observed the private, "there certainly were a lot of them,
weren''t there?"

병사들은 저마다 모자를 집어들고 벌떡 일어섰으나 유독 졸병 하나만은
자리에 누운 채 책을 보고 있었다.

"아아니?"하고 하사관은 호통쳤다.

"저런, 개자식들 참 많았네요, 안그래요?" 졸병이 한마디했다.
