A young banker picked up the telephone.

His end of the conversation went as follows:

"No, No, No, No, No, No, Yes, No, No, No."

The vice-president of the bank overheard him and grumbled, "What
do you mean by saying yes to that fellow?"

"I had to," explained the other,.

"He asked me if I could hear him."

이것이 그가 전화기에 대고 한 소리였다.

그의 통화를 엿듣고 있던 부행장이 불평을 했다.

"자네 그 사람에게 ''네에''라면 어쩌자는 건가?"

"그럴 수밖에 없었습니다. 그의 말이 들리느냐고 묻더란 말입니다"

행원의 설명이었다.
