"I''m up here in room fifteen-ten," an angry woman ranted over the
phone, "and I want you to know there is a man walking around in his
room across the way with not one stitch of clothes on, and it''s a
shocking way to run a hotel."

"I''ll send the house detective up right away, madam," the manager
assured her.

The detective entered the woman''s room, peered across the way and
said, "You''re right, madam, the gentleman hasn''t any clothes on, but
his windowsill covers him from the waist down."

"Stand on the bed! Stand on the bed!" yelled the lady.

여자가 노기등등해서 전화로 항의했다.

"당장 경비원을 올려보내겠습니다"

지배인은 그 여자를 달랬다.

경비원은 그 방에 가서 건너편을 살펴봤다.

"그렇군요.

신사분이 옷을 홀랑 벗었네요.

하지만 창턱에 가려 아랫도리는 보이지 않는걸요"

"침대위에 올라서봐요, 침대위에!"

여자는 소리쳤다.
