Walking along the street a man was attracted by frightened screams
from a house.

Rushing in, he found a mother frantic because her little son had
swallowed a quarter.

Seizing the child by the heels, he held him up and gave him a few
shakes, and the coin dropped to the floor.

The grateful mother was loud in admiration.

"You certainly knew how to get it out of him," She said.

"Are you a doctor?"

"No, madam," the man replied, "I''m from the Internal Revenue Service."

지나가던 사람이 비명소리를 듣고 소리가 나는 집으로 달려갔다.

어린 아들아이가 25센트짜리 은화를 삼키는 바람에 그 어머니가 혼비백산한
것이다.

그가 아이 발목을 잡고 들어올려서 몇 번 흔들자 돈은 흘러나와 바닥에
떨어졌다.

"정말 용하시네요, 그걸 빼내시다니.

의사신가요?"

"아닙니다.

세무서 직원입니다."
