A team of psychologists, working under a government research grant,
undertook to determine how people choose which side of the bed to
sleep on.

After months of intensive research, they concluded that jealous types
select the outside edge in a subconscious attempt to thwart intruders
who might steal their partners.

This just goes to show how tax dollars are being wasted... because
everybody already knows the person who sleeps nearest the door is the
one with the weakest bladder.

정부 연구보조금을 받은 심리학자들이 사람이 잠자리에 들때 침대 어느 쪽을
차지하는가를 규명하기 위한 조사에 들어갔다.

몇 달간 집중적으로 연구한 끝에 내린 결론인즉, 누군가가 침입하여 내
사람을 슬쩍하는 것이 아닌가 시샘하는 사람들이 그것을 제지하려는 잠재의식
때문에 바깥쪽을 택한다는 것이었다.

그런데 이것은 납세자의 돈이 어떤 식으로 낭비되고 있는가를 보여줄뿐이다.

문에서 가까운 쪽을 택하는 것은 방광이 작은 사람이라는 것쯤은 누구나
익히 알고 있는 사실이니 말이다.
