During World War Two, a recreation officer in charge of entertaining military personnel in a number of islands in the South Pacific came across one lonely island where there were 25 nurses and no man.

The nurses appeared desperate to him, so he radioed the nearest island, 300 miles away, to send them the greatest lover in the Pacific Big Buck.

But Big Buck refused to come.

Why?

He said, "Who wants to travel 300 miles for just a half hour''s work?"

보아하니 여자들은 견딜 수 없는 지경에 이른 것 같았으므로 그는 3백마일거리에 있는 가장 가까운 섬에 무전으로 연락했다.

태평양지역에서 제일 가는 정력의 사나이 빅벅을 보내달라고.

그러나 빅벅은 거절했다.

어째서?

"반시간짜리 일을 하려고 3백마일 길을 갈 사람이 어디 있느냐"는 것이었다.
