Waiting in the reception of a dentist, I noticed his certificate. Suddenly, I remembered that a tall, handsome boy with the same name had been in my high school class some 30 years ago. Upon seeing him, however, I quickly discarded any such thought. This balding, gray-haired man with the deeply lined face was too old to have been my classmate. When I asked him if he had attended the local high school, he replied, "Yes." "When did you graduate?" I asked. "In 1964," he answered. "Why you were in my class!" I exclaimed. "언제 졸업했는데..." "1964년에요" "아니 그럼 내 클라스였는데!"라고 내가 놀라면서 말하자 그는 나를 유심히 바라보더니 "뭘 가르치셨던가요?"라고 묻는 것이었다.
