The swanky watering place greatly excited when the suavely dressed young man jumped up from his table and said, "There's thirty hundred dollars for any lady in this place who'll do it my way."


The bartender and manager forcibly ejected the young fellow.


He sat morosely on the curb in front of the bar, until a beautiful girl walked over to him and asked if his offer still held.


He said it did, and they promptly took a cab to her apartment.


There she disrobed, got into bed, and as he lay down beside her, she asked, "Just what is your way?"


"On credit," he replied.



점잖은 차림의 젊은이가 자리에서 벌떡 일어나 "이 자리에 계신 숙녀분들 중에 내 방식대로 해주실 분에게는 3000달러를 드리겠습니다"라고 하자 그 호화판 사교장은 흥분의 도가니가 되었다.


바텐더와 지배인은 그 젊은이를 밖으로 끌어냈다.


시무룩해 그 술집 앞 길가에 앉아있는 그에게 예쁜 아가씨가 다가와서 그가 제의했던 게 아직도 유효하냐고 물었다.


그렇다고 대답하자,두 사람은 곧 택시를 타고 여자 아파트로 갔다.


여자는 옷을 벗고 잠자리에 들어갔는데 남자가 곁에 와서 눕자 "그 당신 방식이라는 게 어떤 건데요？"하고 물었다.


"외상으로 하는 거야"라고 그는 대답했다.
