A long-married couple came upon a wishing well．

The wife leaned over, made a wish and threw in a penny．

The husband decided to make a wish too．

But he leaned over too much, fell into the well and drowned．

The wife was stunned for a moment but then smiled, "It really works!"

여자는 몸을 굽히고 소원을 빌고는 동전을 던졌다．

남자도 그의 소원을 빌어보기로 했다．

그런데 몸을 너무 많이 굽히는 바람에 그만 우물 속으로 떨어져 익사하고 말았다．

순간 여자는 깜짝 놀랐지만 곧 얼굴에는 웃음이 떠올랐다．

"정말로 들어주네!"
