I was young when my grandmother who used share her pearls of wisdom with me.

One of her advice I remember most came when I was only 12.

We were sitting in a park,watching children and their mothers enjoying a beautiful spring day.

She told me that one day,I'd find a woman and start my own family. "Well," she said,"be sure you marry a woman with small hands."

"How come,Grandma?" I asked her. She said with a wink… "makes your pecker look bigger."

Having married to a woman of big hands,whenever I think of this advice,it brings tears to my eyes.



내가 어렸을 적에 할머니는 알짜 지혜를 나에게 전수해주시곤 했다．

그 가운데 가장 기억에 남는 걸 이야기해주신 건 내가 12살 때였다．

우리는 공원에 앉아 아이들이 엄마랑 아름다운 봄날을 즐기고 있는 걸 지켜봤다．

너도 언젠가는 여자를 만나 네 식구를 갖게 될 거라면서 할머니는 “너 있잖니， 꼭 손 작은 여자랑 결혼을 해야 한다”라고 하셨다．

"왜요 할머니?" 할머니는 윙크를 하면서 "그래야 네 고추가 커 보일께 아니냐"고 하셨다．

손 큰 여자와 결혼한 나는 할머님의 이 충고가 생각날 적마다 눈물이 핑 돈다．
