Two very elderly ladies were enjoying the sunshine on a park bench．

They had been meeting every sunny day, for over 12 years, chatting and enjoying each other‘s friendship．

One day, younger of the two ladies turns to the other says, "Please don‘t be angry with me dear, but I am embarrassed．

After all these years, I just can’t remember your name？"

The older friend stared at her, looking very distressed, say nothing for two full minutes, and finally says, "How soon do you have to know?"


연로한 두 할머니가 공원 벤치에서 일광욕을 즐기고 있었다．

두 분은 지난 12년 간 날씨가 좋으면 언지나 그곳에 나와 이야기를 나누며 우정을 다져왔다．

어느 날 나이가 적은 할머니가 "이거 참 난처하게 생겼는데 제발 화는 내지 말아줘요．

그토록 오래 동안 사겨왔는데 형님 이름이 생각나지 않네요"라고 했다．

나이가 많은 할머니는 꼬박 2분 동안 아무 말 없이 고민스런 표정으로 친구 분을 바라보기만 하더니 마침내 말했다．

"그걸 언제까지 알아야 해요?"
