Television offerings were scant, and my husband finally settled on a PBS nature broadcast. As we watched, two male crickets waged fierce battle to win the favor of a female.

The victorious male then mated with his prize.

"That's television，" my husband said， sighing. "Wherever you look,nothing but sex and violence!"

그 프로에서는 수놈 귀뚜라미 두 마리가 암컷 하나를 차지하기 위해 격렬한 싸움을 벌이는 장면을 보여줬다.

싸움이 끝나자 이긴 놈이 암컷을 차지했다.

"TV란 어쩔 수 없는 거로군.어디를 틀어 봐도 섹스 아니면 폭력이잖아!"
