Tne day someone went to the pig farm and asked the farmer, "What do you use to feed your pigs?"

"I give them acorn shells and things like that. Why?"

"I'm from the Animals Protection Association. They shouldn't eat wastes."

Then he fined the farmer.

Some days later, another man arrived and asked the same question.

The farmer answered，"I feed them well. I give them salmon, caviar, shrimp and steak. Why?"

"I'm from a UN organization and I think it's unfair that you feed them like that when there are people dying with nothing to eat."

And he fined the farmer.

Finally, another man came in and asked the same question.

The farmer answered after a few minutes，"I give five dollars to each pig so they can buy whatever they want."



어느 날 한 남자가 양돈농장에 와서는 "돼지들에게 뭘 먹입니까?"하고 주인에게 물었다.

"도토리깍정이 따위를 먹입니다. 왜요?"

"난 동물보호협회에서 왔는데 그런 쓰레기를 먹여선 안 됩니다"라면서 과태료를 부과했다.

며칠 지나 다른 사람이 오더니 같은 질문을 하는 것이었다.

"잘 먹이고 있어요. 연어에 캐비어 새우 스테이크를 먹이고 있는데，왜 그걸 묻는 거죠?"

"난 유엔 기관에서 온 사람인데，먹지 못해 죽어가는 사람들이 있는데 돼지에게 그렇게 잘 먹이면 어떡합니까"라며 그도 과태료를 부과하는 것이었다.

급기야 또 한 사람이 와서 같은 질문을 했다.

양돈장 주인은 잠시 생각하고 나서 대답했다.

"난 돼지들에게 5달러씩 줘 제각기 원하는 걸 사먹도록 하고 있답니다."
