My husband and I were discussing the options available on the new car we planned to buy.

The standard equipment included a driver's side air bag, but the passenger air bag was an optional purchase.

I though this was a bit odd and asked，"What would a wife say if her husband bought a car with only one air bag?"

"That's easy," my husband responded. "She'd say， I'll drive."



남편과 나는 새로 사려는 자동차의 옵션을 가지고 의논했다. 표준 장비엔 운전석 에어백이 포함돼 있었으나 옆 좌석 에어백은 옵션으로 돼 있었다.

그 사실을 이상히 여긴 나는 "남편이 운전석에만 에어백이 달린 자동차를 구입한다면 그의 아내는 뭐라고 할까요?"하고 물었다.

"그야 뻔한 얘기 아니오.아내는 '운전은 내가 할게요'라고 할 테지 뭐."
