After examining three dead bodies， all with very big smiles on their faces, the coroner explained what has happened.

Pointing to the first body he said, "Englishman, 60, died of heart failure while making love to his mistress, hence the smile."

Taking the police inspector to the second body, he said, "Scotsman, 25, won a thousand pounds on the lottery, spent it all on whisky. Died of alcohol poisoning, hence the smile."

Standing beside the third body, the coroner said, "Irishman, 30, struck by lightening."

"Why is he smiling then？" inquired the inspector.

"Thought he was having his picture taken."

세 번째 시신 옆에 가자 검시관은 "30세의 아일랜드인.벼락을 맞아 죽었어요"라고 했다.

"그런데 뭐가 좋아서 저렇게 웃고 있는 건가요？"하고 경감이 물었다.

"사진촬영하는 줄 안 겁니다. "
