One day while riding the bus to work， I noticed a man at a stop enjoying a cup of coffee. As we approached， he finished drinking and set the mug on the ground. This negligence surprised me， since it seemed to be a good ceramic cup.

Days laterI saw the same man Aagain drinking his coffee at the bus stop. Once again， he placed the mug on the grass before boarding. When the bus pulled away， I looked back in time to see a dog carefully carrying the cup in his mouth ass he headed for home.

며칠 후 같은 정류장에서 난 또 다시 커피를 마시고 있는 그 사람을 발견했다. 이번에도 그는 버스에 오르기 전에 커피 잔을 땅바닥에 내려놓는 것이었다. 버스가 떠날 때 뒤돌아본 난 때마침 조심조심 그 컵을 입에 물고 집으로 향하는 개를 발견했다.
