One morning，after her husband had gone to work，his wife decided to have a leisurely bath.She undressed and then remembered that the gas was still on in the kitchen.Wrapped in a towel，she went downstairs.She was about turn off the gas when she heard footsteps. She realized at once that it was the milkman since the arrangement was for him to deliver the milk to the kitchen.So，covering up her front，she ran to the kitchen door.The door was opened.Much to her surprise it was the man from the gas company who had called to read the meter.For a moment she was speechless.Then she said，"Sorry，I was expecting the milkman."


어느날 아침 남편이 출근하자 아내는 느긋하게 목욕을 즐기기로 했다. 옷을 벗고 나니 부엌에 가스를 켜놓은 게 생각났다. 타월을 걸치고 아래층으로 내려갔다. 막 가스를 잠그려는데 누군가가 다가오는 소리가 들렸다. 그 순간 우유배달부가 부엌문으로 우유를 배달하기로 돼 있다는 게 생각났다. 그래서 앞부분을 잘 가리고 얼른 부엌문으로 갔다. 문을 열었다. 그런데 뜻밖에도 계량기를 보러 온 가스회사 사람이 아닌가. 한순간 여자는 말문이 막혀버렸다. 그러다가 입을 열었다. "미안해요，난 우유배달부를 기다리고 있었거든요. "
