A wealthy gentleman and his wife were celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary and their three grown sons joined them for dinner.

The old man was rather irritated when he discovered that none of the boys had bothered to bring a gift. So， after the meal he gave them a piece of his mind. "You are all grown men， and old enough to hear this. Your mother and I have never been legally married."

"What？" gasped one of the sons. "Do you mean to say we're all bastards？"

"Yes，" snapped the old man， "and cheap ones， too！"


돈 많은 노인 부부가 결혼 35주년을 축하하는 자리에 다 큰 아들 셋이 합석했다.

그런데 어느 녀석도 선물을 사들고 오지 않은 사실을 눈치 챈 노인은 화가 났다. 그래서 식사가 끝나자 녀석들에게 한바탕 분통을 터뜨렸다.

"너희들 다 장성했으니 이 사실을 알아야 할 때가 됐다. 너희 어미하고 나하곤 정식으로 결혼한 게 아니다. "

"뭐라고요？ 그러면 우린 모두 사생아란 말인가요？" 한 녀석이 숨을 헐떡이면서 물었다.

그러자 노인이 호통쳤다. "그렇다， 이런 싸가지 없는 것들아！"
