"Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams.If I didn't drink this beer，they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered.

Then I say to myself，It is better than I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver."


"간혹 난 그동안 내가 마신 그 많은 맥주를 생각하면서 부끄러움을 느끼는 일이 있다. 그러다가 맥주잔을 물끄러미 들여다보면서 양조장에서 일하는 사람들의 모습을 떠올리고 그들의 온갖 희망과 꿈을 생각하게 된다. 내가 이 맥주를 마시지 않는다면 그 사람들은 일자리를 잃게 될 수도 있을 것이고 그리하여 그들의 꿈이 산산조각날 것 아닌가.

그래서 생각하게 된다 ~~ 내 간을 걱정하는 이기적인 생각을 할 것이 아니라 맥주를 마심으로 해서 그들의 꿈이 이뤄지게 하는 게 좋지 않겠느냐고."
