Joe and Frank were in the office， and noticed that someone had put up a suggestion box. It had a small encouraging sign above it that said， "Ask It！" Both decided that this was a great idea， and each took a card to fill out to ask for some improvements.

Joe wrote: "The office workers should all be given raises！"

Frank's card said:"Can we all have raises， and keys to the executive washroom， and personal secretaries， and new company cars， and new coffee cups， and longer lunch breaks， and an extra three weeks vacation each year？"

Joe said，"Frank， that isn't the right way of getting things changed around here. You shouldn't put all of your begs in one."


조와 프랭크는 사무실에 누군가가 설치한 건의함을 눈여겨본다. 건의함 위의 "요구합시다！"라는 작은 글씨는 의견을 내라고 독려하고 있었다. 두 사람은 그게 아주 좋은 아이디어라고 생각하고 제각기 개선돼야 할 사항을 카드에 적어넣었다.

조의 건의사항: "사무실 직원 모두의 급료가 인상돼야 합니다！"

프랭크의 건의사항:"모두의 급료를 인상해주고，모두에게 중역화장실 사용을 허용해주고，모두에게 개인비서를 주고，새 회사 차를 주고，커피 잔을 새로 마련해 주고，점심시간을 더 주고，1년에 3주간씩 휴가를 더 갖게 해줄 수 없을까요？"

프랭크의 카드를 본 조가 말했다. "여기선 그런 식으로 해 가지곤 달라지기를 바랄 수 없어.한꺼번에 모든 걸 요구해선 안 된단 말이야."
