One day, at a local buffet, a man suddenly called out, “My son’s choking! He swallowed a quarter! Help!” A man from a nearby table stood up and announced that he was quite experienced at this sort of thing. He stepped over, wrapped his arms around the boy’s abdomen and squeezed. Out popped the quarter. He then went to his table as though nothing happened. “Thank you! Thank you!” the father was overjoyed. “Are you a medical doctor?” “No,” replied the man. “I work for the IRS.”

어느 날 뷔페에서 한 남자가 소리쳤다. “아들놈 목에 동전이 걸렸습니다! 도와주세요!” 옆자리에서 한 남자가 일어나더니 그런 일에는 자기가 상당히 경험이 많은 사람이라고 했다. 아이에게 다가오더니 두 팔로 아이의 배를 끌어안고 압박했다. 동전이 튀어나왔다. 그러자 그는 아무 일도 없었다는 듯이 제자리로 돌아갔다. “고맙습니다! 고맙습니다!” 아이 아버지는 좋아서 어쩔 줄을 몰라했다. “의사 선생이신가요?” “아닙니다. 세무서 직원입니다.”
