[비즈니스 유머] 발랑 까진 아이들 - Worldly-wise Urchins

An American diplomatic messenger had just arrived in a central American capital, and as he strode briskly out of the airport dirty street urchins trailed after him trying to sell everything from a shoeshine to their sisters. “Hey, American,” called out one lad especially worldly-wise for his years, “I can get you what you like if you pay … dirty pictures, marijuana, girls, boys….” The undiplomatic messenger disdainfully proclaimed, “My business here is with the American ambassador!” “Can do, senor,” responded the boy, “but for an ambassador you will have to pay extra.”

미국의 외교통신 배달부가 중미의 한 수도에 도착해 공항을 나서자 꾀죄죄한 거리의 똘마니들이 몰려들어 슈사인부터 자기들 누나에 이르기까지 온갖 것을 사라고 보채는 것이었다. 나이에 어울리지 않게 유달리 발랑 까진 녀석이 소리쳤다. “이봐요, 미국 아저씨, 돈만 내면 뭐든지 있어요… 야한 사진도 있고, 마리화나도 있고, 아가씨도 있고…사내도 있고….” 그런데 교제 수완이라곤 없는 외교 배달부는 녀석에게 오만하게 소리쳤다. “난 미국 대사를 만날 거란 말이야!” “만나게 해드립죠… 하지만 대사쯤 되면 돈은 더 내야 해요.”
