Two prostitutes were riding around town with a sign on top of their car which said: “PROSTITUTES - $60.00.” A policeman stopped them and told them to remove the sign or go to jail. Just at that time, another car passed with a sign saying, “JESUS SAVES!” One of the girls asked the cop, “How come you don’t stop them?” “Oh, that’s different. Their sign pertains to religion.” The following day the cop noticed the two women driving around with a sign on the car which now read: “ANGELS SEEKING PETER - $60.00.”

두 창녀가 “매춘부-60달러”라는 광고판을 자동차 위에 얹고 거리를 누비며 다녔다. 경관이 그들을 제지하고 광고판을 치우라면서 그러지 않으면 감옥으로 간다고 했다. 때마침 “예수가 구원하신다!”라는 광고판을 얹은 자동차가 지나갔다. 여자 하나가 경관에게 물었다. “저 차는 왜 안 잡아요?” “저건 다르지. 광고문이 종교에 관한 거잖아요.” 이튿날 그 경관은 두 여자와 다시 마주쳤는데 이번엔 광고문이 달라진 것이었다. “천사들이 베드로를 찾고 있음-60달러.”
