The man had taken up back-packing with enthusiasm to set out on his first outdoor camping trip. His wife was too pregnant to go, so he talked his 5-year-old son into being his companion. After a strenuous 4-mile hike through the wilderness, they unpacked their provisions for supper. “Wow, it looks like your mom remembered everything!” the father exclaimed. “Well, I know one thing Mom forgot,” exhausted son said. “She forgot to keep me home.”

첫 야외 캠핑을 해보려는 남자가 열심히 배낭을 챙겼다. 아내는 임신으로 몸이 무거워 따라나설 수 없었므로 그는 다섯 살 난 아들을 꼬셔 함께 가기로 했다. 야산을 4마일 터벅터벅 걸어간 끝에 저녁거리로 챙겨온 것을 끌렀다. “와, 너희 엄마가 이것저것 잊지 않고 잘 챙겼구나”라고 아버지가 감탄했다. “그런데 한 가지 잊은 게 있어요.” 기진맥진한 아들 녀석이 말했다. “나를 붙잡아두는 걸 잊었지 뭐예요.”
