The Korean Association of Specialty Chemicals Industry has decidedto recommend to the government that a fine chemical industry complexbe established to help foster the fine chemicals industry. The association also decided to conclude business tie-up contractswith government-invested research institutes for the utilization oftheir facilities in the development of new materials. The establishment of a fine chemical industry complex is beingsought as it will reduce costs for disposal of waste waters,while facilitating utilization of various by-products. The complex also will help avoid duplicate facility investments.
