Playing a guessing game, the teacher said, "I have something behind my back. It''s red in color and round. It''s soft but it''s hard."

Johnnie raised his hand and said, "I know it''s a red rubber ball."

"No, Johnnie, it''s an apple, but I like the way that you think."

Johnnie was now getting the hang of it and asked the teacher of he could try one.

"I have something behind my back. It''s pink in color and it''s long. It''s soft but it''s hard."

The teacher, getting upset, yelled at Johnnie, "I''m going to have to tell the principal about this perverted behavior."

"But, teacher, all I have is my pink eraser, but I like the way that you think!"

알아맞히기 놀이를 시작하면서 선생은 "나는 뒤에 뭔가를 가지고 있습니다. 붉은색에 둥그런 것입니다. 부드러우면서도 단단합니다."

조니가 손을 치켜들었다.

"빨간 고무공입니다"

"아닙니다. 이건 사과입니다. 하지만 생각하는게 마음에 드네요"라고 선생은 말했다.

이제 요령을 알게 된 조니가 문제를 내보겠다고 했다.

"저의 뒤엔 뭔가가 있습니다. 핑크색의 킬다란 것입니다. 부드러우면서도 단단합니다"

선생은 당황하면서 소리쳤다.

"그런 빗나간 행동에 대해서는 교장선생님께 보고드려야겠어요"

"하지만 선생님, 제가 가지고 있는 건 핑크색 지우개입니다. 그런데 선생님 생각하는게 마음에 드네요!"
