The four college sophomores were carrying "A" thus far and were so confident that on the weekend before finals they drove out of town to have a great time.
After the hardy partying they were too drunk and couldn''t make it back to town in time for the finals.They explained to their professor that they had a flat tire on their way back to town.
The professor said that they could make up the finals the following day.
The next day, the four guys were placed in separate rooms.The first problem, worth 5 points, was simple.
They were totally unprepared, however, for what they saw on the next page : (For 95 points) Which tire?

줄곧 A학점을 받아온 대학 2학년생 넷...어찌나 자신만만했던지 기말시험을 앞두고 주말을 실컷 즐기기 위해 멀리 드라이브갔다.흥청망청 즐긴 네 사람은 술에 취한 나머지 시험을 볼수 있는 시간에 돌아올 수가 없었다.
그들은 교수에게 멀리 갔다 돌아오는 길에 타이어가 펑크났던 것이라고 설명했다.
교수는 이튿날 따로 시험을 보게 해 줬다.
시험 보러간 네 학생을 교수는 각각 딴 방에 배치했다.5점짜리 첫 문제는 쉬운 것이었다.
그런데 95점짜리 다음 문제는 전혀 준비하지 않은 것이었다 : 어느 타이어가 터졌는가?
