[비즈니스 유머] 배신감

One of the assignments in my English－composition class at the college was a ten－page paper on what it means to be human. I put my soul into this work， and my professor not only gave me a good grade but also tried to persuade me to persue a writing career.

The following year， my boyfriend took the class and asked for help on the same assignment. I gave him my paper， but instead of using it only for ideas， he turned in a word－for－word copy. When the composition was returned， my betrayed professor had written "How is Robin doing these days？"

대학 영작문 클래스에서 학생들에게 주어진 과제는 '인간됨의 의미'에 관해 열 장짜리 글을 써내는 것이었다. 난 혼신의 노력을 기울여 그 작업을 했는데 교수는 내 글에 좋은 점수를 줬을 뿐만 아니라 나로 하여금 글 쓰는 길로 나가도록 설득하려고 애쓰셨다.

그 이듬해엔 남자 친구도 그 클래스에 나가기로 하고 나에게 도움을 청하게 되었다. 난 내 글을 건네줬는데,그는 그걸 다만 참고만 한 게 아니라 몽땅 그대로 베껴서 제출했다. 되돌아온 그의 글을 보니 교수님께서 배신감을 토로하고 있었다. "요즘 로빈은 어떻게 지내고 있지？"
