GM Korea Records Sales of 49,626 Units in November, Up 5.4% Year on Year

Seoul – GM Korea sold a total of 49,626 units in November, up 5.4% year over year.

Overseas sales totaled 47,805 units, an increase of 8.4% from the previous November. The Chevrolet Trax Crossover, including its derivative models, sold 29,392 units overseas last month. The 13.8% year-on-year sales increase confirmed the model’s strong popularity in global markets. The Trax Crossover, Chevrolet's entry-level model that has redefined the crossover segment, continued to be in high demand globally due to its spaciousness, new features, and modern, stylish design.The Chevrolet Trailblazer, including its derivative models, sold 18,413 units overseas in November, an increase of 0.8% compared to the same month last year, once again demonstrating its competitiveness in the global market. In particular, the Chevrolet Trax Crossover and Trailblazer ranked first and third, respectively, in vehicle exports in October, proving once again their popularity in the global market (According to the Korea Automobile & Mobility Association).

GM Korea's sales in Korea totaled 1,821 units in November, with the Chevrolet Trax Crossover leading the way on sales of 1,398 units. The market response to the Chevrolet Tahoe remained strong as well, with sales rising 64.3% year over year. The Tahoe is Chevrolet's flagship SUV, embodying the brand's SUV development know-how and heritage.

In addition, GMC Sierra sales increased 13.6% year over year. The all-in-one model offers everything a pickup truck should be, including a bold design, powerful performance, a luxurious cabin, and advanced amenities. The vehicle is pioneering the full-size luxury pickup truck market in Korea.“GM’s core products continue to be recognized by vehicle buyers globally, with the Chevrolet Trax Crossover and Trailblazer ranking as the No. 1 and No. 3 vehicles exported from Korea, respectively, in October,” said GM Korea Vehicle Sales and Service Vice President Gustavo Colossi. “In December, we're looking forward to even more customers taking advantage of Chevrolet's year-end offers, including zero percent financing and cash incentives for the Chevrolet Trax Crossover, Trailblazer, Colorado, Traverse and Tahoe.”

GM is conducting the “CHEVROLET GRAND FINALE” promotion throughout the month of December, providing Korean consumers with some of the best purchase offers of the year. GM is offering a variety of financing programs, including zero percent financing, lump-sum purchase offers, cash incentives, and more for those who purchase the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Trax Crossover, Colorado, Traverse, and Tahoe, and GMC Sierra. Customers who visit a Chevrolet showroom will receive a Chevrolet mug with their purchase, and those who drive off the lot with a new vehicle will be entered into a drawing to win a trip for four to Southeast Asia, a Dyson air purifier, and more.
