GM Korea Reports September Sales of 38,967 Units, Marking a 6.6% Increase Year Over Year

- Overseas sales grew 9.1% on an annual basis driven by global strategic models

- Chevrolet Traxcrossover and Trailblazer overseas sales up 14.7% and 0.5%, respectively, on an annual basis

- Domestic Chevrolet Trax Crossover sales rose 1.4% compared to the same month in 2023

- Chevrolet Traverse sales increased 44.8% year on year
SEOUL – In September, GM Korea sold 38,967 units, reflecting a 6.6% increase compared to the same month last year.

GM Korea's overseas sales last month were 37,009 units, marking a year-on-year increase of 9.1%. The Chevrolet Trax Crossover, including derivative models, contributed significantly to this performance on sales of 23,736 units outside Korea, marking a 14.7% increase on an annual basis. Chevrolet's entry-level model redefines crossover vehicles and remains in high demand globally thanks to its spacious interior, new features, and contemporary stylish design.The Chevrolet Trailblazer along with its derivative model sold 13,273 units globally in September, up 0.5% compared to the same month last year. The model’s sophisticated design and outstanding marketability have contributed to its worldwide popularity.

In September, GM sales in Korea reached 1,958 units, with the Chevrolet Trax Crossover being the top performer. Its sales of 1,444 units represented an increase of 1.4% compared to the previous year. Additionally, sales of the Chevrolet Traverse in Korea amounted to 84 units in September, reflecting a 44.8% year-on-year increase. The Traverse remains a favorite in the imported large SUV segment thanks to its impressive size and best-in-class power performance.

These include various financing options such as interest-free installments, lump-sum purchase discounts, and cash incentives for buyers of the Chevrolet Trailblazer, Trax Crossover, Colorado, Traverse and Tahoe, and GMC Sierra. Additionally, GM's integrated brand space, The House of GM, will be providing weekend test drive opportunities for the Chevrolet Trax and GMC Sierra, along with hosting community events like RC car-building workshops and career talks with GM engineers.
